Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis

JOB SUMMARY: 

 

Responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and analysis of general & administrative departments.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with heads of departments to compile detailed departmental forecasts based on current and projected company activities.


Analyze month-end results; prepare variance analyses, send out statements of actual vs. budget and forecast. 

 

Upload/download financial data into the general ledger system.

 

Interact with department heads as necessary to keep updated and to resolve issues.

 

Ad hoc analyses. 

 

Assist other team members and handle miscellaneous projects when necessary.

SKILLS REQUIRED:   ?  BS in Finance or Accounting,  MBA a plus.

?  4-6 years? experience in financial analysis.

?  Strong PC skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.

?  FRX or general ledger system reporting tools.

?  Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to meet goals with little supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

?  Thinking clearly and analytically.

?  Attention to detail.

?  Time management and prioritization.

?  Flexibility required.

?  Must be able to delegate to staff.

?  Experience coaching and mentoring staff.
