Manager of Inventory Planning and Replenishment

Equipment Sales Corp is looking for a Manager of Inventory Planning and Replenishment.

 

Summary: The Manager of Inventory Planning and Replenishment provides top level leadership to the Inventory Replenishment group and is responsible for the planning of and sourcing of products.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create, implement and influence best practices in Sales/Marketing Forecast and Inventory Management Forecast. Coach and mentor the Inventory Replenishment team for optimal results and develop next generation leaders. Develops Distribution Center (DC) level plans and forecasts, then fully communicating and integrating these plans with logistics and DC operating plans. Manage to exceed or beat all Inventory Metrics. Looks for best value deal / partnerships with vendors.




 

Experience and Skills:
Job Requirements:
? University Degree or equivalent. MBA a plus ! 
? 5 plus years in of experience in progressively senior positions, experience in high growth companies with high volume quick inventory turns.
? Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply/demand forecasting
? Capacity to build internal and external relationships.
? Ability to transform current business model into a Supply Chain
? Ability to establish credibility across the organization and engage others to ensure the most effective supply chain solutions.
? Flexibility to seek and incorporate input from varied business partners with a solid track record for developing teams.
Position Skills:
? Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong business relationships.
? Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in a fast pace changing environment.
