The Manager of Managerial Reporting will manage reporting processes to meet internal reporting needs including preparation of consolidated reports and analysis.  In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining working relationships with peers as well as providing direction to staff associates. 

 

Essential Accountabilities: 
Prepare RCG and consolidated RFG analyses of actual results compared to forecasts, targets, or to prior periods. 
Develop various analyses to communicate financial results and strategic initiatives to Executive Leadership, Board of Directors and shareholders.
Manage processes across RCG/RFG to meet RFG and ResCap reporting requirements in a timely and efficient manner.  Examples include monthly/quarterly performance reviews to RFG and ResCap senior management and the ResCap Board of Directors, ad hoc reporting and presentations, and Strategic Business Unit reporting and analysis.
Monitor reporting processes across RFG and manages efforts for continuous improvements in quality, timeliness and efficiency.
Evaluate and define reporting requirements to support collaboration with GIS and ResCap to maintain and develop shared reporting applications such as PeopleSoft, Essbase and implementation of new applications.
Provide coaching and supervision to managerial reporting staff. 

 

Requirements:
College degree in Finance or Accounting.
10+ years managerial reporting experience.
4+ years supervisory experience and writing executive-level financial analysis.
Excellent analytical skills ? especially concepts of discounted cash flows.
Strong PC spreadsheet skills (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), and PowerPoint.
Exposure to Essbase or similar reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, writing/editing, negotiating, listening).
Able to translate initiatives/strategies into action.
Innovative and creative problem solving.
Ability to manage multiple priorities. 
Independent and self-motivated.
Flexible/dependable.
Demonstrated Team Player.
