Manager of Store Analysis

Develop comprehensive analyses that focuses on current business trends and identifies sales and profit opportunities.
Analyze the various drivers impacting sales and profit performance including hours of operation, competition, effectiveness of Area specific marketing initiatives, impact of third party plan changes and other variables.
Evaluate opportunities for increased profitability in terms of payroll efficiencies, variable expense costs and increased sales opportunities
Analyze the actual versus expected profitability/return on investment of new stores and relocations.
Responsible for the formation of a new department including training and managing a group of financial analysts to support analysis projects.
Facilitate decision-making by developing adhoc analysis that transforms financial data into actionable information.
Actively contribute to process improvements and assist in various department projects as needed.



Requirements:


Bachelors Degree, with concentration in Finance, Business or related field required, MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of related financial analysis experience; retail experience preferred.
Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
Excellent PC skills, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheet and database software. (Excel, Access and Essbase required).
Excellent analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust priorities as needed and meet deadlines.
