Maritime Acquisition and Sustainment Systems Analyst

Key Role: Support the maritime aviation lead with systems engineering expertise in the acquisition and total life cycle support for all new and legacy surface, aviation, and C4ISR assets. Analyze the proposed maintainability, sustainability, and operational performance parameters of assets under maritime acquisition and prepare reports on their viability and efficacy. Provide technical assistance on airframe, power plant, and avionics systems for new and legacy aircraft. Provide technical guidance on capabilities of USCG air stations and depot-level maintenance facilities. Assist the aviation lead on aviation workforce management issues. Provide analyses of aviation asset mix proposed by maritime acquisition program.



Basic Qualifications:


-5+ years of experience with defense acquisition


-5+ years of experience with logistics required


-Secret clearance required


-BA or BS degree required


 


Additional Qualifications:


-Experience with aviation acquisition preferred


-Knowledge of aircraft maintenance preferred


-Degree in engineering or professional aeronautics preferred


-Certification as USCG Aviator preferred


 


Clearance:
