One of the top Tier 1 European Banks is looking for a Desk quant to join one of their prop Trading Desks in NYC. This client is looking for an excellent academic background (PhD, Top Class MSc, 1st class Degree etc) and sound financial mind to join this very profitable desk. Advanced C++ is not essential although a solid grasp and understanding is. Experience in Credit Derivatives/ Equity Derivatives (theory or practical) is necessary. This candidate will be very entrepreneurial and have superb communication skills, as this role is extremely business facing. Initially the role will be very quantitative dealing with the pricing models and tools, but following a successful initial period, will turn into a more hybrid role spaning quant and trading.
