PERSONAL BANKERS are proven sales professionals with high energy and are "hungry" for success.  In this highly visible role, you will be a front line sales representative for a branch, responsible for exploring each customers’ financial profile and providing financial products and solutions to meet their needs with one-to-one personal attention and service while attaining retail and investment sales goals.


 


Your responsibilities will include:  generating new business, opening new accounts, assessing customer needs and recommending and selling appropriate banking products and services.  Successful Personal Bankers have a strong knowledge of the sales processes including profiling, outbound telephone sales, consulting, networking, cold calling and appointment setting.  In addition, you are risk, bottom-line-results oriented and goal driven.

You must be self-motivated, team-oriented with a strong customer focus.  Experience in sales with a background in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving specific sales goals, building referral sources, networking and cold calling preferred.  Licensed with a Series 6, 63, and Life Insurance preferred, OR will obtain the necessary licenses within 60 days of employment.

Minimum one year sales experience required (2-5 years preferred)
Customer service and computer experience preferred 
Extensive customer contact and experience with ongoing customer relationships
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent probing and listening skills to uncover the customers needs
Self motivated, assertive, performs well in a competitive sales environment and interacts with customer and team members in a professional and personable fashion
Strong presentation, planning, organization and follow-up skills
High school graduate or equivalent required (BS or BA degree preferred)
Series 6, 63, Life Insurance licenses required within 60 days of hire (also Health in some states)
Ability to work Saturday and some evenings required
