OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

The United States Postal Service has the following excellent and challenging employment opportunity for highly motivated and innovative individuals to work in our Revenue & Cost Systems office in WASHINGTON, DC. Successful candidates must demonstrate through a combination of education, training, and experience the following requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to develop operations research, statistical, and computer system methods and models.
2. Ability to conduct studies and data analysis for business and financial applications using operations research, statistical, and computer methods and models.
3. Ability to prepare, communicate, and document technical work through presentations and written reports.
4. Ability to develop project objectives, cost estimates and work schedules.
5. Knowledge of computer applications (e.g., SAS, COBOL) sufficient to build, analyze, and run operations research or statistical models and systems.

The salary range is $48,520 - $80,027. Salary will be based on previous experience, salary history, and current postal pay policies.
