PROJECT MANAGER, LEAN - FINANCE

Description:
The Project Manager Black Belt will function as an individual contributor while leading global cross functional efforts to improve business processes and associated technology in advance and as a part of the company's emphasis on Pricing excellence. In doing so, the individual will be responsible for designing the methodology and providing project management leadership to ensure that business processes are designed utilizing Six Sigma principles and techniques. This will be accomplished by participating in various business-line councils and providing key inputs to progressive cost-control and organizational productivity leadership. You will engage support for change initiatives within Finance and lead the establishment of a collaborative and partnering culture among Pricing leadership. Central to that, he/she must ensure a focus on Six Sigma projects and productivity improvement initiatives that are consistent with the company's strategy of long-term sustainable improvement and, as necessary, provide occasional training on various aspects of Six Sigma, change management and other improvement methodologies.

This position will be dedicated to supporting a new Pricing and Negotiations team that will bring our Pricing and Negotiations professionals together into a single functional group globally for the first time. You will report to the Director of Pricing and Negotiations. Formerly acting independent of their peers, this new organization will need to develop processes both at the Corporate and Business Unit level with supporting policies, tools, and metrics. This position will be the driving force behind this activity and be the focal point and project manager for all such improvement efforts. As such, this person filling this position will need to work closely with the Pricing and Negotiation leadership team to drive results. This is a highly visible opportunity that will have tremendous impact on the organization!

This position ideally will be located in Milwaukee, WI at our World Headquarters but will also consider Cleveland, OH. Travel expected to be 15-20%.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

o Bachelor's Degree with preference in Finance, Accounting or Business
o Black Belt Certified with at least 2 years experience leading successful projects focused on back-office process development and improvement
o 7 - 10 years functional experience
o Excellent team building skills
o Experience working with global cross functional teams
o Excellent communication skills as well as a high degree of integrity and honesty

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

o Master's or MBA
o ERP implementation experience
o Experience in cost estimating and price analysis
o Experience in forecasting market analyst and price modeling
