Par Loan Closer   A lucrative international investment bank is hiring a Par Loan Closer for immediate placement. This is an amazing opportunity offered on a long term temporary basis in downtown Manhattan, at a rate of $30-35 per hour + benefits!

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

 

?  Working with the trading desk and clients to settle secondary syndicated loan trades for par trading within 7 business days

?  Preparing legal documents, including Trade Confirms, Assignment Agreements, among other legal documentation

?  Working on electronic settlement systems

?  Reviewing and understanding Credit Agreement language

?  Working with clients and other Agents to resolve issues, such as position discrepancies and facility names

?  Calculating certain trading formulas, such as delay compensation and pay downs

?  Liaising between the trading desk, other departments of the bank, clients, and outside counsel

?  Responsible for approximately 60-80 open trades, as well as supporting other lines of business in the Bank for their documentation needs

?  Weekly reporting for open trades is required

 

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

?  3-4 years experience in secondary loan market

?  BA in finance or a related field, MBA a plus

?  Proficiency with PCs, especially Microsoft products (Excel and Access in particular)

?  Familiarity with Policy and Procedures within the Documentation area

?   Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
