Performance Management Lead (Principal Financial Analyst)

 

Responsibilities:

 

?  Developing Enterprise-wide Performance Management Capabilities:

o Implement, manage, and continually refine the performance measurement, reporting, and governance process

o Lead development of reporting and analytical tools, including data warehouse and performance scorecards

o Develop and deliver change management and training materials detailing the importance of performance management and how it benefits the business unit and the company overall

o Identify trends/best practices and anticipate business needs to support an evolving performance management function

 

?  Leading Metric Development:

o Lead the development of metrics at the Enterprise level

o Facilitate the development of new metrics at the Business Unit level and ensure alignment to Enterprise goals

o Perform regular reviews of metrics to evaluate effectiveness and the need to add or delete metrics

 

?  Managing Performance Management Processes:

o Manage regular internal and external reporting, including the monthly management review cycle and performance against targets

o Coordinate with IT to drive systems enhancement focused on improving data collection, usage, and reporting

o Partner with Business Unit leadership to ensure that their needs are being met

o Manage analysts responsible for performance analysis and reporting

 

?  Integrating with Budgeting and Forecasting processes:

o Coordinate with Budgeting and Forecasting team to ensure that metric goals are used as an input to the process

o Understand the implication of resource allocation scenarios and their impact on the key metrics

 

Essential/Required:

?  8+ years of Finance/Financial Planning and Analysis experience

?  Performance Management Experience

?  Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or quantitative field

?  Effective communication and management skills, including the ability to articulate progress, issues, and recommendations in a concise manner to all levels of the organization

?  Strong skills in developing financial reports and analyzing their results

?  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

?  Focus on achieving project deliverables within tight timelines

?  Ability to work well within a team structure

?  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

?  Knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP Business Warehouse and other Performance Management/Data Warehousing Tools

?  Knowledge of IT vendor selection processes

 

Marginal/Desired:

?  Software Vendor Evaluation Experience

?  MBA
