BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
Responsible for assisting in financial and accounting activities at the Dandridge plant such as financial reporting and analysis, plant forecasting, operational metrics, and providing general financial support to the Plant Manager.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare performance reports on a monthly basis
2. Prepare budgets and forecasts
3. Support responsible parties on the analysis and maintaining of current standards of manufactured goods
4. Support pricing and costing exercises of manufactured goods
5. Review, balance and post month-end inventories
6. Audit and assist in the reconciliation and analysis of general ledger and balance sheet accounts
7. Assist in the preparation and distribution of month-end plant labor, material and overhead variance reports

EDUCATION
Four-year degree in Accounting/Finance.

EXPERIENCE
Strong working knowledge of Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Access ' desired) is required. Must have excellent organization and people skills, good analytical skills, and able to work independently as well as be a team player. Position requires reliable attendance and willingness to work more than 40 hours per week as necessary to complete the job. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
