Principal Financial Analyst 

Shoreview, MN

 

Serve as a business partner for the Global Business Solutions Organization, primary focus is Work Place Solutions and Supply Chain. Take the initiative to identify a broad range of business issues and provide support in the decision-making process to senior leadership. Identify, analyze, communicate and resolve major financial issues, which impact achieving business objectives and strategic imperatives. Provide financial and analytical support to the areas supported.

 

Provide high level guidance and input, key interface, financial analysis and modeling for the Workplace Solutions (WPS) and Strategic Sourcing (SS) and other areas within Global Business Solutions. Provide support for actual reporting, strategic planning, annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for Global Business Solutions organizations. Develop and maintain various financial models and report on the impact of significant variances. Provide finance guidance and expertise for construction projects within Workplace Solutions. Actively participate in and coordinate month end close accounting, reconciliations and forecasting. Coordinate special projects, which may include but are not limited to: presentation materials (graphs or schedules), pricing models, ROI on capital investments, Sarbanes-Oxley support.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION:
? BS in Accounting or Finance
? 10+ years Accounting or Finance experience in a computerized environment
? Complete understanding and application of general accounting principles
? Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office package (Excel - including use of macros and lookup tables, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
? Demonstrated competence to take ownership/charge of projects with a short completion dates
? Good judgment and problem solving skills
? Proven customer partnering skills
? Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
? Ability to interface in a team environment with various levels of management
? High integrity and self-confidence
? Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.

PREFERENCES:
? SAP experience
? Essbase
?Experience in construction finance
