Private Label Financial Associate

The purpose of this team is to evaluate potential new and existing partner relationships for our Private Label business.  The team performs financial valuations to ensure that potential opportunities are meeting the company’s financial goals and objectives.  The team is part of the bank’s Investment Decisioning Group, which reviews all financial decisions as it pertains to the credit card business. 

 

The specific position is for valuing Private Label partner opportunities.  This area represents a significant growth area for Chase Card Services.  The candidate will work on the financial valuation for these potential opportunities.  This would include valuing the overall potential of the relationship and the specific promotional items offered. 

 

The position provides the opportunity to work with many departments within the bank including Business Development, Marketing, Risk, and other Finance areas.  Another key benefit of the position is visibility with Senior Management. 

 

Position Requirements:
Perform financial valuations for Private Label partner relationships and promotional offerings
Participate in strategy discussions for specific partnerships and the overall business
Work closely with other departments to gain all financial inputs needed
Create base case models for Private Label valuations
Perform on-going and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the business



Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline required
5 years of Private Label credit card industry experience required
Must have strong knowledge of Private Label business with respect to offering, strategy, product differentiation and financial performance
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong presentation skills (including ability to speak to various audiences)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Experience with Hyperion Essbase and SAS preferred
