Program Control Analyst

L-3 Communications, Aerospace Electronics (AED) is a Division of the Sensors and Simulation Group within L-3 Communications Corporation.  AED performs advanced research and development in key technology areas, such as digital signal processing, embedded processor software, electromagnetics and antennas. We are solving the most challenging electronic communications, countermeasures and surveillance problems that the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Agencies will be facing in the future. AED specializes in the transformation of unique technological innovations into major system integration and weapon system production opportunities, such as the Navy?s WSQ-9 submarine sonar system.

 

Job Duties: Performs program control support activities for active government contracts. Plans and creates program schedules, spreadsheets and databases, generates and submits monthly/quarterly financial reports, and tracks contract expenditures.  Provides program managers with assessment as to the level of effort and other direct costs available with remaining contractual funds.  Provides insight and possible solutions for resource problems due to funding or performance period issues.  Monitors and tracks the locations of government furnished equipment and contractor acquired property.  Conducts property audits and prepares various auditing forms to be submitted to the government.

 

Requirements: BS/BA degree in a business discipline.2+ years experience in resource analysis and project administration for active government programs.Skill in using MS Office and MS Project.Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Must be comfortable working within demanding time contraints.Skill in using Microframe Project Manager (MPM) highly desired.
