POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Ensure IS and business readiness while managing multiple vendors concurrently. Working knowledge of Financial and Purchasing systems. Support the Finance & Purchasing business areas on business transformation planning including identifying processes/skills and developing alternatives. Develop and maintain the overall IS project plan for the relevant programs/projects. Ensure there is clear scope and deliverables for each project. Participate in preparing RFIs and RFPs and in reviewing responses and selecting appropriate vendors. Partner with the business project/program manager for vendor management during solution definition and delivery activities. Ensure IS project is executed with qualityefficiency and maximize probability of project success by adhering to North America's Program Management Office (PMO) cycle project governance procedures. Coordinate with NML and North American affiliate companies as required for specific projects.

 

Knowledge of vendor management, contract management, customer relationship management. Project management skills. Strong working knowledge of automotive business systems. Oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Conflict resolution.

 

Ten or more years of related experience at a professional level.

 

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Consider equivalent related college or technical courses, seminars and in-house classroom training. Advanced degree preferred.

 

Advanced knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to create specialized applications or products of a highly technical nature.

 

Approximately 20% day and overnight travel.
