Real Estate Analyst

Major Responsibilities: Completes sales forecasts and transfers estimates associated with openings, closures and repositioning of stores to support Gap Inc. real estate capital decisions in North America.  Identify and communicate most salient factors driving analysis and assess associated risks and opportunities
Deliver strategic market plans for their region, identifying how to best optimize sales and market share.
Consider and synthesize the perspectives of all stakeholders into the analysis
Build relationships with regional office(s) to obtain relevant information to drive forecast accuracy, directly manage deadlines and multiple project deliverables.
Present findings and recommendations to senior executives
Lead, manage and conducts key strategic and departmental initiatives and analysis
Lead analysis to identify quality real estate drivers

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to interpret data and provide relevant conclusions and recommendations.
Strong understanding around the use of spatial analysis to direct investment decisions.
High proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint is required, experience with statistical software and modeling is a preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization
Must be comfortable with presenting to senior management and working in cross-functional teams
Credibly represent departmental point of view in meetings with the ability to negotiate with and influence key decision makers
Proven track record to lead, drive and manage projects to completion and directly manage deadlines and multiple project deliverables
Background in site selection principles and techniques and forecasting preferred.
Bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) in human geography, economics, urban studies, business/finance, statistics, social sciences or related disciplines. Masters degree a plus.
