Regional Finance Manager

As a Regional Finance Manager you will support a large, multi-site profit center. Provides support to the Regional Finance Director and frontline management team on existing business, forecast and budget, monthly operating results, etc. You will report to Regional Finance Director.  The Regional Finance Manager formulates and implements proper financial information systems and procedures for the region in compliance with ARAMARK and Line of Business policies. You will be responsible for the following:
Coordinates completion of the weekly payroll analysis with Market Analyst. Tracks weekly variances to estimate. Provides updates to RFD about expected revenue and payroll fluctuations based on transaction variability in the aviation, bus and car rental markets.
Coordinates completion of the monthly VP report with the Market Analyst and RFD.  Ensures that all plan to actual and prior year variances have been identified.  Works with Operations personnel to explain reasons for variances.  Assists the RFD in developing comprehensive action plans for the correction of negative variances and assists the RFD to ensure that action plans are implemented.
Coordinates monthly and quarterly financial projections in conjunction with Market Analyst and RFD. 
Performs monthly plan to actual to prior year variance and trend analysis.  Assists the RFD in developing action plans for negative variances and trends.
Monitors accounts receivable balances and provide assistance for collection when needed.
Coordinates and reviews re-bid pro formas and new business pro formas for technical accuracy.  Accumulates and compiles financial data for new business pro formas.  Participates in “Fresh Eyes” reviews of existing business and new sales surveys.  Assists the RFD in developing a retention strategy for the Region.
Performs audits at client locations as directed by the RFD.  Assists the RFD in identifying internal control weaknesses and appropriate action plans.  Assists the RFD in ensuring that internal control action plans are fully implemented.  Ensures that all DM audits are performed correctly and in a timely manner.  Provides monthly report on the completion of audits
Assists the RFD in conducting field training for financial initiatives.  Communicates training needs to the RFD.  Assists the RFD in presenting regular financial presentations to Operations personnel and corporate.
Assists FLM and Region Staff in financial reporting and acts as a resource for accounting questions.  Follows up on open accounting issues as directed by the RFD.
Assists with the preparation and compilation of the annual budget.  Assists the RFD in developing strategic financial planning.
Works with Corporate accounting to ensure financial reporting integrity.  Ensures that all accounts have fully complied with monthly financial reporting standards.
Performs other related duties as directed by Regional Finance Director. 



Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent. MBA degree preferred. Requires several years of experience in budgeting, financial control, and forecasting.  Supervisory experience and managerial responsibilities, particularly in the service industry, is desirable. Position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly, ability to adapt to new situations and interface with senior management. Working PC knowledge in a Windows environment with strong Excel spreadsheet experience is required. Experience with QuickBooks and Oracle based financial applications is required.
