Regional Finance Officer - Dallas

 Regional Finance Officer (RFO) 

The RFO is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing critical financial and operations data in order to increase revenues and manage costs. This individual will partner with Regional Vice President of the Regional Operating Center (ROC) to evaluate operating metrics and their potential impact on revenue goals and occupancy levels. This position oversees a large region including Austin, San Antonio, Memphis and parts of Louisiana.  The RFO will report directly to the Division Vice President of Finance.

 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 -Monitoring financial results for the ROC including revenue, expenses, G & A, capitalized payroll, capital projects, and any other items affecting the profitability of the ROC.

-Analyzing operating expense trends for the correct level of spending based on industry averages and community needs assessment.

-Analyzing spending required for each property to adequately preserve the asset value and providing information to VP of Capital as necessary or requested.

-Reviewing pricing and fees on a unit/property level in cooperation with the VP of Pricing

-Prepare monthly reports analyzing financial results and key operating parameters.

-Reviewing reports to analyze projections of revenue and expenses against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.
