Regional Inventory Analyst (Wholesale)

JOB SUMMARY:

This position serves as the primary contact on all aspects of inventory control relating to new home construction as well as providing back-up to the other Inventory Analyst.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Responsible for all aspects of payments for new home construction including but not limited to verification of PO number, delivery date and condition, and payment amounts as well as providing approval for wire transfers.

Responsible for researching delinquencies applied to PO?s including reporting the outcome to the Sr. Regional Analyst in order for the posting of journal entries to be completed in a timely manner.



Monthly review of site development and home extra codes and making corrective journal entries when necessary.



Review all construction accounts for inaccuracies and make appropriate corrective journal entries.



Track all titles and MSO?s including but not limited to reviewing invoice to budget filing, sending to communities, and tracking activity in Excel.



Responsible for the reforcasting/entry of PO?s in the Sales and Inventory System including researching costs applied to homes.



Create reports for regional and corporate management as requested.



Responsible for coordinating vendor bids, updating Base Price Worksheet, entering draft PO?s,



Responsible for collection and review of PO approval packages, must ensure accuracy, obtain approvals, issue PO number and communicate to the manufacturer.



Maintain communication with vendors, collect, review and process invoices through A/P, monitor base prices and model changes during model year flip.

Responsible for maintaining the permit process and issuing authorizations to build.

 

SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in finance and/or accounting required and 1+ years experience preferred. Excellent communication and computer skills required, Excel and Word preferred. Some travel may be required.
