Responsibilities include:

? Manages the relationships of assigned CDO products (typically over $1 billion in value) with the Portfolio Manager, Underwriter, Rating Agency, Investor, and Insurer.

? Retain and grow client relationships to include client visits and soliciting new business opportunities.

? Participate in the process of deal negotiation/structure with sales, TMG, internal and external counsel, underwriters, and clients to develop deal documents particularly in the areas of investment criteria, collateral testing, priority of payments, and reporting requirements.

? Manage the deal amendment process with the Portfolio Manager, Legal Counsel, Underwriter, Investors, Insurers, Rating Agency, and other third parties.

? Responsible for managing support staff of 2 or more professionals

-  Client manager for deals on 1 team

-  PMP / employee reviews

-  Maintain personnel files

-  Direct/assist staff in establishing and meeting career goals

-  Responsible for training, development, and coaching of staff

? Respond to the needs of the Portfolio Manager, Underwriter, Rating Agency, Investors, other third parties and internal business partners in a timely manner.

? Comprehend, interpret and analyze complex legal documents governing transactions to ensure compliance.

? Provide accurate and timely portfolio reporting, analyze hypothetical transactions, and manage cash related activities of the portfolios for compliance with governing documents.

? Determine and prepare priority of payment calculations (waterfalls) and perform related payment date activities.  Provide payment date information to the Accountants and  coordinate payment reconciliation process.

? Analyze and explain test results to appropriate internal and external individuals such as the Portfolio Manager, Underwriter, Rating Agency, Bond Counsel, Accountant,  and Investors.

? Proactively manage deals by understanding the client and deal documents and relating them to the deal’s status in order to mitigate risks.

? Take ownership by using necessary resources to recognize areas of potential issues or risks with deals and clients and escalate problem situations to the Team Leader when necessary.

? Participate in new deal implementation, including the effective date process.

? Manage Key Performance Indicators, consistently apply internal control procedures and ensure compliance with all policies.

? Demonstrate awareness of current market developments and industry trends and understand how these items could affect the deals and our business.



 


 


?  Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting or Finance preferred) and a minimum of 3 years related work experience; or a minimum of 7 years related work experience;


?  Excellent client relationship skills including negotiation skills;


?  Excellent attention to detail required;


?  Ability to accurately interpret Structured Finance documents or equivalent.;


?  Professional  demeanor and communication skills;


?  Strong analytical skills.


?  Availability to work overtime when needed; 


?  Ability to work in a stressful work environment.
