Retail Analyst

Founded in 1906, American Greetings is the world`s largest
publicly owned creator, manufacturer and distributor of social
expression products. In the United States, our greetings cards
are marketed under the names American Greetings, Carlton Cards and
Gibson. Other domestic products include DesignWare party goods,
GuildHouse candles, and Learning Horizons educational products.

Primary role is to facilitate fact-based decision making through the development and delivery of sales reports and analyses. Responsibilities include:
-Collect point-of-sale data and create databases that will be used to generate standardized sales reports
-Develop and present insights and recommendations to improve sales and identify growth opportunities
-Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested
-Other point-of-sale data collection/management efforts as needed

-Strong analytical skills required
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Solid oral and written communication skills
-Microsoft Excel and Access skills a plus

Education Required: The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field or business degree with quantitative coursework
