Revenue Analyst, Finance, Enterprise Solutions

The Enterprise Solutions (ES) Finance Team is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a 3-person team tasked with innovating and enhancing the revenue and margin analysis for the global budgets, forecasts, and actuals. This position will focus on collecting data from numerous systems and regions and manipulating and analyzing the resulting data. This individual will work closely with the finance primes in each of the ES product portfolios, global Regions, and ES management to define reporting needs and successfully implement reporting/and analysis solutions.

Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in analyzing financial data and understanding the inter-relationships of all components of the P&L's and balance sheets (i.e. impacts to P&L and balance sheet of revenue deferrals and releases, impact of inventory transactions on standard and gross margins, impact to margin percentages with changes in revenue or costs, etc.)
- Experienced in identifying and implementing process and reporting improvements. Creative thinker who will help enhance data collection, reporting needs and value of the data.
- Experience with a wide range of Nortel systems, including Advance 1 & 2 (Oracle), Accounts Receivable systems, revenue tracking systems, Business Objects, OFA, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, vlookup, hlookup, macros, etc.), and Microsoft Access or other automated database tools.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition guidelines, including SOP 97-2, SFAS 48, FTB 90-1, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence virtual team members are a must.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant finance/business experience.
- Finance /Accounting/Business undergrad required.
