Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Job Purpose: This accounting/finance professional will work at NBCU's newly acquired iVillage as a key owner of the revenue recognition, billing, and pacing process. In this role, the individual will support one of iVillage's 3 core business units (iVillage, iVPN, Health) and work closely with the operating business, sales team, and finance team for that business.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Finance responsibility for weekly revenue pacing including identification of revenue risks and opportunities versus plan.
Maintenance of revenue recognition analysis and owner of monthly and quarterly revenue closes. Includes working closely with sales and business leadership to maintain controllership in areas such as sales contract status and business delivery versus sales commitments.
Ownership of invoicing process for all of the revenue in the respective business unit.
Assist in the enhancement of billing processes and revenue recognition for Accounting/Finance. Work closely on near-term project to simplify current process and identify a comprehensive iVillage-wide revenue and billing system.
Work in cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations and Finance) to help create invoice, billing requirements and to implement best practice solutions in billing systems and processes
Own month end, quarter end and year end revenue close processes and related controllership responsibilities.

Bachelors in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Revenue Recognition and Billing accounting
