SAG Benefits Finance Senior Consultant

Reports To: Direct report to Benefits Sales and Accounts Finance Manager,
Supports/Partners with: Finance Manager, Client Account Executives, and Client Teams

Primary Responsibilities:
ª Provide financial support and counsel across a portfolio of HR Outsourcing client contracts

ª Specific duties would include:
ª Generate reporting packages to support key financial metrics and processes
ª Identify, manage, analyze, monitor key financial and operating metrics to meet client revenue, cost, and contract accounting requirements
ª Pricing and profit analysis support for new work; change controls, new services, etc.
ª Support the establishment of the accounting and reporting infrastructure project codes, policy implementation, management reporting, etc.
ª Monitoring and analysis of contract/client profitability, actual and forecast, from implementation through ongoing and understanding sources of client costs (e.g., by service, location, group, etc.)
ª Provide financial analysis and support to Benefits Sales and Accounts Finance Lead
ª Oversee monthly close cycle revenue recognition, variance reporting, etc.
ª Oversee quarterly and annual budget process revenue and profitability forecasting, variance analysis, etc.
ª Communication with operations on various performance metrics and translation to impact on client revenues/profit
ª Assist Account Executive and Finance Manager with escalated issues related to client invoicing, collections, and DSO management
ª Ensure the portfolio has accurate and timely financial forecasts leading to predictable results
ª External and internal audit support
ª Ensure compliance with HR Outsourcing Finance policies and procedures; ensure account teams and operations are aware of such policies and procedures
ª Maintenance of the internal control environment and observance of the Company's operational, accounting and ethics policies; including the responsibility to resolve or escalate violations of those policies promptly to operational and/or financial management as appropriate.

Qualifications:
Desired Background/Requirements
ª Bachelors degree in finance or accounting with at least three or more years experience in finance or accounting
ª Prior financial management/support experience of a business unit, client/service contracts, and/or regional or multi-state operations a plus
ª Outsourcing industry experience a plus
ª CPA a plus
ª Big 5 experience a plus
ª Ability to use and leverage multiple financial/data systems to support reporting and analysis
ª Strong Microsoft Excel skills
ª Located in Lincolnshire, IL office (or potentially in another major Hewitt Center)
ª Travel up to 20%
