SAP Ops Finance Design Lead

Scope of Position: The primary focus of this position is to lead the SAP Operations Finance team in providing accounting and SAP systems expertise in supporting the design, development, and deployment of the various initiatives embedded within the SAP Production environment, the Finance Transformation, and the Business Transformation programs. The role requires managing and directing resources, extensive collaboration and negotiation with other internal functions, as well as interfacing with external business partners.

Primary Responsbilities

? Provide tactical leadership to team of SAP Process & System Design Specialists
? Lead business processes development and adapt to Change Management initiatives driving data and information accuracy and efficiency.
? Manage, direct, review and align activities of SAP Process & System Design Specialists for efficient and effective use of resources.
? Manage SAP designs to ensure compliance with Nortel corporate policies and procedures. Plan and lead projects ensuring successful project completion.
? Ensure process and system functionality meet end user requirements.
? Work with the end user groups, cross functional core design team members, and technical experts in an effort to identify business requirements and solutions.
? Create and document the design of the process and build the appropriate systematic and process solutions as required by each project or project task.
? Support the testing of system/process designs by designing scenarios and scripts based on user feedback and executing the scenarios.
? Support and execute deployment activities include testing, training, documentation, and providing post implementation warranty support to the users.
? Ensure the overall integrity of the Operations Finance functionality within the SAP and Nortel's Business Transformation initiatives
? Support other specific Operations Finance projects as assigned by the Program Leaders

Required Skills:

* A minimum of 3 years of SAP experience within the CO & FI modules is absolutely required. Certification is a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Project leadership experience / skills
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Must be able to work in a dynamic environment
* Supply Chain or Service Business Accounting experience
* Working knowledge of cross functional operations, including supply management, order management, order fulfillment, & logistics
* PMP Certification & SAP PS module experience a plus
