This position will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis function, which includes monthly internal reporting and analysis, yearly planning, quarterly forecasting, and the related reporting and presentations. This is a hands-on position, and your recent experience performing the related financial and accounting projects will be essential to making an immediate impact. A background in operations and financial processes will be helpful. Working knowledge of Oracle is required. Essbase, and Hyperion Planning skills are preferred, as data management and reporting will be a key function of this position.


Responsibilities
' Assists in the month-end close process including but not limited to preparing account analysis, preparing reports necessary for validating general ledger balances, review coding of AP invoices to ensure proper coding of actual expenses versus planned expenditures, SOX reporting requirements and performing analytical activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
' Monitor monthly receiving deadlines, open PO's report activities by e-mailing various reports to ensure proper accrual activity has occurred
' Monitoring Purchase Requisition activity for proper cost center coding.
' Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts, including operating expense, headcount, and capital expenditures.
' Provide analysis and commentary of actual versus budget amounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
' Assist in audit analysis on a quarterly basis.
' Identify and implement process improvements.
' Identify and report operational deficiencies.
' Support Finance with ad hoc analysis, business case support, presentations to management, and special projects as required.
' An additional challenge of this role is the ability to prioritize and balance corporate, executive management, and operational management informational needs.

BS in Finance or Accounting
' 4+ years Finance related experience
' Solid understanding of accounting requirements and finance functions along with the ability to research invoices and reconcile payments.
' Ability to organize and summarize data in a clear and concise manner, attention to detail
' Strong analytical and financial modeling skills required
' Excellent communication skills
' Experience with Hyperion Planning & Essbase preferred
' Oracle Financials experience with GL module, AP, FA, PO inquiry and Discoverer reporting, required. Experience with Oracle AR and FA desired. Experience with TM1 or other OLAP reporting tools for analysis a plus.
