SOX Compliance Officer - Education Finance

As an Internal Compliance Officer for Chase Education Finance, you will perform all audit work in accordance with department and professional standards, evaluate the system of internal controls and prepare risk assessment matrices, audit programs and audit planning memos as appropriate. You will also deliver audit services that consistently satisfy the needs and reasonable expectations of the Education Finance Accounting department by helping them improve the control environment, streamline their business and achieve operational excellence. Additionally, you will review and/or prepare detailed reports of audit findings, recommend changes in operation, as appropriate and complete assignments in an efficient manner with sufficient attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of coverage.



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CPA or similar designation
At least five years of  audit experience
Experience and an expert proficiency in financial statement and audit report preparation, and maintaining general ledger required
Ability to run audits and participate in audit assignments
Very strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
