SR. ANALYST
Job Description: This position will be responsible for consolidating the financial results of select Tyco Healthcare business units during the month-end closing process.
Responsibilities Include:
Performing analytical review procedures of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow to ensure integrity of information
Consolidating and reviewing SEC Quarterly and Annual Reporting Requirements.
Generating reports and preparing related exhibits for internal management reporting
Maintaining all the Hyperion corporate ledgers as defined by the Assistant Corporate Controller
Maintaining all restructuring & purchase accounting related reserve documentation.
Assessing the allowability of spending against the restructuring & purchase accounting related reserves
Assisting in the preparation of a quarterly review of such reserves under SAB#100
Completing special projects as designated by management personnel
Requirements:
Background Preferred:
BS in Accounting required
3-5 years accounting experience, with a background in analytical review preferred.
CPA Preferred
Knowledge of Purchase Accounting and Restructuring guidance desired (EITF 95-3, 94-3 and SFAS 146) a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet program is essential
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with Hyperion database software preferred
