Sales Compensation and Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst. This person will be responsible, but not limited to the following accountabilities: Provide accurate and timely quantitative reporting and analytical support for sales incentive compensation payments. Prepare accurate and timely sales performance reporting to business unit and sales management. Assist and provide reporting and analytical support in the compensation plan development process, for example cost of sales analysis. Assist and provide reporting and analytical support in the territory alignment and sales quota development processes, for example compilation and maintenance of Opening Banks. Design and produce excel, access or other system reports, as needed, to facilitate the sales commission payout and sales performance reporting processes. Investigates and resolves inquiries or issues related to compensation or quota adjustment, territory alignment, commission calculations, etc. Assists in the development and implementation of process and productivity improvements that improve either or both the accuracy and timeliness of sales compensation and reporting functions. Special projects or initiatives as needed.
BS degree in finance, accounting or business administration, with a quantitative emphasis. Knowledge of accounting and generally accepted accounting principles. Minimum of 5 years of business experience with evidence of progressive and successful increase in responsibility. 3-5 years of experience in sales compensation and administration is desirable. Demonstrated strength in MS Excel and MS Access Database management. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Very strong written and oral communication skills. Prior experience in redesigning and improving complex processes (especially sales compensation and administration) is a definite plus.
