Senior Actuarial Auditor

As a member of MetLife?s Actuarial Division, you will work with other actuaries and accountants to audit actuarial processes throughout the enterprise. The audit universe includes, but is not limited to, cash flow testing, reserves (statutory, GAAP and tax), DAC, loss recognition, SOP 03-1, SOP 05-1, corporate risk management, pricing, product development, reinsurance, 7702 testing, and mergers and acquisition.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

Requires a complete understanding and knowledge of actuarial auditing, audit, accounting and finance principles. Advanced knowledge of actuarial mathematics and finance. Understanding of government regulations and FASB pronouncements as applied to insurance matters.
We are seeking candidates who are a career ASA, near FSA or FSA plus 5+ years experience.
Experience working for both a large insurance company AND an accounting or actuarial consulting firm. Advanced knowledge of insurance products.
Willingness to travel between 15% - 30%. Both domestic and international travel, required.
BA/BS degree. MBA, a significant plus.
