Senior Business/Financial Analyst

This position is responsible for the financial administration of the market data expenses within the region. This includes maintaining a market data services inventory database for the purpose of allocating vendor invoices to the appropriate cost centers. There are many aspects of this function including reviewing invoices to ensure there are no miscellaneous or inaccurate charges associated with the invoice. In addition it is expected that a regular report be generated for timely notification of contract expirations to determine whether they should be renewed or canceled. Primary Responsibilities: Review invoices for accuracy and appropriateness of charges. Challenge vendors for over charges. Allocate expenses on the invoice to the appropriate Cost Center. Maintain MDS inventory database including vendor contracts, rate increases, addition of new products & services and more. Maintain vendor and cost information within the tables of the MDS inventory database to track the usage & costs of MDS across business lines. Knowledge of Vendor and Exchange reporting requirements and documentation. Interface with vendors, end users, and technical staff regarding the ordering of market data products and services. Partner with Accounts Payable and ensure costs are posted to the appropriate GL account. Ensure that Business Management be notified when contracts are coming due for expiration. Perform cost analysis and cost comparisons for different market data services and for different user groups. Conduct cost reduction analyses. Participate in special projects.
