Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
Do you enjoy working strategically on various business initiatives, while at the same time being a business partner with management at all levels of the organization? Do you have a strong passion for business analytics? The Circuit City FP&A Department is looking for strategic, creative professionals to serve as Sr. Director for our Corporate Planning, Retail, Merchandising and Infrastructure Finance teams based in Richmond, VA.
As a Sr. Director, you will be responsible for managing teams, which consist of 10-15 individuals ranging from manager to analyst level associates. These roles report through the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, and will directly support our General Merchandising Managers/ (SVP?s).
The FP&A teams are responsible for the development of strategic plans, financial budgets, forecasting for multi-sales channels, gross margin, store optimization, inventory metrics, capital investments, and corporate planning.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum of 10+ years of financial experience focused on strategic planning & analysis as well as strengths in the following areas:
Retail experience, or consulting experience with concentrations in retail, merch. planning or supply chain.
Provides executive leadership, and direction for a financial team grounded in improving profitability
Champions change through influencing, and building relationships with peers, and business leaders.
Strives to understand, and exceed expectations of internal/external customers.
Strong analytical/quantitative skills with strategic business thinking.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or other analytically-oriented major.
MBA with a concentration in Finance, Financial Strategy or Consumer Finance,
