Senior Financial Analyst for Financial Services firm

Orange County Financial Services firm with global presence is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support a business unit in all financial reporting and analysis as well as quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for department allocations, management reporting, variance analysis and ad hoc reports, modeling and analyses. The qualified candidate will have a bachelors degree in accounting/finance and at least 5 years experience in financial reporting and analysis. Strong excel skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Experience with PeopleSoft, nVision, Hyperion Essbase and Planning a plus. Prior budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and analysis skills are required. A team player with a strong desire to grow in a fast paced environment will succeed here. Excellent written and oral communication skills required along with the ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues and manage multiple priorities with finesse. Salary ranges from $65,000-70,000 per year depending on experience. The company offers an excellent benefit package. The responsibilities for senior financial analyst include full general ledger responsibilities, manufacturing job cost processes, cash forecasting, financial consolidation of multiple entities, inventory reporting, budget forecasting as well as helping establish departmental policies and procedures, managing bank relationships, purchase order review and other projects as assigned. The successful candidate will have a bachelors degree and preferably a CPA, and at least 5 years expereince in manufacturing. Vista, Epicor or Vantage software a huge plus. Excellent technical skills needed to help with an upcoming system implementation as well as strong communication skills and a dedicated work ethic.
