Senior Financial Analyst - high profile role at the intersection of financial management and IT

Acting as a liaison between finance and our Information Technology, Advertising Operations, and Facilities departments, you'll be in a position to acquire a broad understanding of a diverse array of functional areas within the Times, and this knowledge can serve you well as you pursue promotional opportunities within our company.

Your main role will be to provide financial expertise and analysis support and insight to Managers in these departments, including period closing, budgeting, forecasting, and "gut check" progress reports. In addition, you'll perform ad hoc analyses such as what-if scenarios; many of these analyses will involve cross-department initiatives, giving you an opportunity to interact with stakeholders in multiple areas such as Editorial and Operations.
