Be an integral part of WaMu’s cutting-edge efforts to strategically leverage and aggressively expand enterprise-wide product and relationship (customer/household) level profitability reporting.  Diverse range of job responsibilities include:


Manage a team of approximately eight employees across a broad scope of production, analysis, and reporting functions. 
Validate monthly production of financial results within complex reports and massive databases. 
Establish best practice governance/automation practices to realize efficiencies and controls across highly involved production processes.
Lead creation and implementation of a multi-generation vision to capture the wealth of existing information within actionable standardized reporting packages.
Create insightful presentations that crisply convey performance highlights and financial/strategic implications.
Integrate product/household level information into “information-based” decisions via presentation to senior level management and other bank partners.


BS in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.  MBA/MIS degrees and CFA/CMA/CPA certification are strong benefits.
8+ years of experience in highly analytical Financial/Technology roles involving diverse/complicated considerations.  These positions should include both monthly production of financial results and strategic analysis responsibilities.  A minimum of three years of direct staff management is required.
Proven execution track record leading large-scale cross-functional efforts.  Experience creating/implementing a multi-generation strategic vision is highly valued.
Strong oral/written communication skills including presentation to senior level management.  Ability to filter significant level of available results into crisp/strategic presentations that clearly highlight trends/implications.
Knowledge of best practice techniques for financial reporting production/audit.  Six-Sigma/Operational Excellence certifications are plusses.
Expertise on the structure and business use of relational databases.  Candidate must have background/knowledge to effectively work with technology partners in development of integrated financial solutions.  Experience within a technical role is a plus.
