Senior Manager, Program Finance

This position is responsible for directly managing 3 employees who are responsible for preparing contract performance reports including detail analysis of work unit cost and schedule variances while supporting various cost account managers.
Responsible for ensuring the program log, BCR preparation, MS Project import validation and proficient with integrated planning MpM tab is done accurately and timely.
This position is responsible for other various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
Reviews financial data received from both mangers and the accounting system for accuracy and indications of cost spending trends.
Maintains and presents documented financial information to various levels of management.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations.
Participates in audits and interfaces with government auditors to ensure an understanding of financial data, methodology and applicability under appropriate government regulations exists.

Ideal candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and ten years of related experience.
Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Current working knowledge of EVMS and MPM required.
Applicant must be willing to submit to a security check.
Must have solid employee and project management skills.
Must have government cost control EVMS experience.
Preferred candidate will have 4+ years of EVMS experience.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Candidate will be expected to interface with the project management, executive management and customer senior staff.
The candidate must be familiar with proposal preparation and contract negotiation support.
This position requires a working knowledge of Winsight, Propricer, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Deltek Costpoint, and Program Contral Software (MPM, Cobra, etc.)
To effectively contribute to the finance department, this position must be able to communicate financial/program information efficiently within a matrix organization.
