Senior Statistical Analyst

We?re seeking a Senior Statistical Analyst to join our ADS Division in our Chicago, Atlanta, and Delaware offices.


Responsibilities: The majority of this position's analytical projects will involve utilizing various advanced statistical modeling techniques such as regression, CHAID, clustering, neural network and other advanced statistical methods.  Create statistical models for varied clients, both generic and custom. Consult with clients to determine analytical requirements. Coordinate and complete custom research and analysis project.  Present results of analyses in user/client language.This senior-level statistician will be responsible for mentoring and coordinating analytical resources, and ensuring that deliverables are in accordance with client expectation and business need.  Provide technical product support for new and existing products and services.

 

Qualifications:Masters in Statistics or other related field such as mathematics, business, finance, economics, or equivalent with 4 or more years of relevant work experience. Strong understanding of statistical tools and their application to business, as well as principles of cost/benefit analysis, risk management, marketing and operations.  Demonstrated experience using a PC and the applicable software programs necessary to complete the work of the position.  Must know SAS in a mainframe and/or PC environment.  Knowledge of SPSS, data mining tools such as KnowledgeSeeker, Enterprise Miner, etc., as well as strategy development, using tools such as credit scoring systems (new accounts, behavioral, collection and recovery likelihood, etc.), CHAID and Triad/Probe/Strategyware/Capstone-type of software is strongly desired. Technical aptitude with strong logical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.  Proficiency in performing multiple tasks and dealing with changing deadline requirements required.
