Software Engineer

This is a software engineer position to perform software packaging and deployment engineering for a Large Financial Client. You will be involved in all aspects of packaging existing Thomson and third-party applications, security patches, driver updates, etc for the Client's platform. Activities include packaging existing applications, such as MSI's, for deployment, as well as taking snapshots of pristine machines before and after the installation of third-party packages to capture installation details.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Interface with external clients, who can be senior managers within their respective organization Act as the technical deployment/packaging lead in Thomson ONE software suiteMaintain and archive all custom packaging solutions Will require late night and weekend work

Qualifications:3+ years of technical supportExcellent troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of InstallShield technologies and scripting languages is required.Wise packaging certification a plusBachelors Degree Required
