Specialty Finance Analyst
Position Summary:
Monitor financial activity, provide financial support for special insurance captive insurance programs, and monitor the various captive facilities. Includes monitoring loss funds, analyzing and ensuring the integrity of data received from TPA's, recording and managing reinsurance recoverables from captives and maintaining adequate collateral for unauthorized reinsurance.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience; 3 plus years work experience. Strong computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Lotus Notes, and Word. Strong interpersonal and communications skills, proven organizational abilities, demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to recognize unusual numerical relationships in financial data. Must be comfortable working with detail and also able to see the big picture. Month-end overtime required. Able to travel 4-5 times/year for 2-3 days at a time to perform audits of the Program Managers.
