Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Analysis

Amkor Technology is currently looking for a Sr. Analyst, Reporting & Analysis for our Chandler, AZ office. This position will work with our worldwide factories with month-end closing, management reporting activities, inventory management analysis and specific business analysis. This position reports to the Manager, Reporting and Analysis.

 

Major responsibilities of this position include:

 Support the reporting and analysis function for excess material evaluations and determination of customer liabilitiesConduct conferences with customers and sales teams in collections/settlements of excess inventoryExecute inventory control systems such as forecast alerts, reserves disposition analysis and scrap reportReview consolidation of monthly financial reports from worldwide factories and communicate effectively with factory finance teams on closing process itemsFacilitate variance analysis with factoriesAssist the corporate controller?s organization with month-end closing and reporting processesSupport the organization with internal management reporting requirementsLead, as well as participate, in process improvement effortsAssist factory organizations with ad-hoc projects and facilitate the resolution of factory finance questions in an effective mannerUtilize Hyperion system supporting world-wide reporting and create recurring and ad-hoc reports

 

Required Qualifications:

 

This position requires a Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 2-5 years of experience with accounting principles, GAAP, consolidations, management reporting, inventory management or equivalent. MBA, CMA, CFA or CPA is a plus. A general understanding of operations and manufacturing is preferred. The qualified candidate will have expert level experience with PC software such as Excel, Word and Access and the ability to work independently, prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines. Hyperion, Oracle and /or SAP software proficiency is highly desired. The successful candidate will have the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively in both written and oral communications across multiple time zones, commitment to finance functional areas and the proven ability to consistently meet deadlines.
