The Financial Systems Program is a corporate initiative responsible for the design, development, implementation and deployment of enterprise financial systems for all Cardinal Health businesses worldwide. This department, the first of its kind at Cardinal Health, manages the coordination of cross-functional and Finance process initiatives. The Financial Systems Program focuses on the continuous improvement of financial processes and the realization of value-added benefits. Department members will participate in defining and transforming a new global finance organization at Cardinal Health enabled by SAP and other leading edge technologies.

II. Purpose: The Purchase-to-Pay work stream encompasses indirect procurement of materials and services (including procurement card), indirect accounts payables and management of indirect vendors. Asset acquisition and asset management processes are also included in that work stream.
The work stream is responsible for designing future state businesses processes leveraging leading business practices and state of the art enabling technical solutions.
The business analyst supports future state business process design for indirect procurement (Maintenance Repair and Operations) and materials management. Integrates indirect procurement and materials management design in Purchase-to-Pay work stream. Collaborates with experts in the business segments (extended team) and other key business stakeholders (for example: Strategic Sourcing) to coordinate design decisions and drive value. Supports evaluation and identification of new technical solutions that make processes more efficient (for example: catalog based buying, EDI, workflow). Will support global deployment of solution for indirect procurement across all business segments.

Provides expertise in the area of indirect procurement of materials and services and materials management. Specific areas of desired expertise are: Requisitions for indirect materials and services, purchase orders for indirect materials and services, approval process for requisitions / purchase orders and procurement card processing.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance-related field required.
Required Qualifications:
Familiarity with indirect procurement business processes and all or a subset of enabling solutions like ERP software, catalog based buying, EDI and workflow engines
Highly professional individual with excellent analytical and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrates professional attitude and appearance consistent with position's responsibilities
Self-motivated and detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple tasks
Ability to recognize priorities and manage confidential and sensitive materials in a secure manner
Works well in teams

Desired Qualifications:
1-3 years experience in project management team environment preferred; experience with Cardinal Health business preferred
Working experience on large-scale enterprise project
