Responsibilities:

Communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Lead and develop pricing engagement model and consistent frameworks for large renewal and complex client relationships.
Gather competitive bid and competitive loss data that is actionable by Product Management and Pricing.
Successfully manage and operationalize / implement a proactive bid management approach across the organization (working with Sales, Finance, Client Financial Services, Marketing, and Business Unit product management).
Develop, analyze, and recommend new pricing policies for Sales that are intuitive and can be leveraged across Gartner's portfolio.
Guide Sales executives through a process that:
Identifies the information required to make pricing decisions (target client segments and their value proposition) resulting in decisions supported by fact-based analysis and modeling.
Supports decisions with analysis to identify the tradeoffs involved in alternative decisions.
Takes informed risks to secure existing business or new business.
Reinforces consistent field pricing practices that are aligned with value-based principles and are in-line with the company's strategic business objectives.
Supports transactional pricing decisions through:
Analysis and monitoring of pricing to identify leakage, gaps, or opportunities, providing Sales and client facing support throughout sales cycle
Creating and maintaining a central repository on customer economics by market segment, competitive situations and key value drivers that will serve as the basis for changing our pricing and pricing policies.
Local Price Management - working with all local country managers to develop
complimentary pricing strategy.


Qualifications:
Pricing executive with 8-10 years experience managing tactical and strategic pricing initiatives in some capacity.
Proven functional pricing expertise building large, complex, solution-oriented bids and deals consisting of multiple products & services.
Very strong interpersonal skills and people management abilities.
Strong quantitative and analytical background.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
MBA or MS in Economics.
