Sr. Financial Analyst - JUP Administration

We are currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to work within Jefferson University Physicians? administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing research and analysis, in budgeting and financial trends, for the Clinical Practice Plan.
Specific responsibilities include:
? Produce accurate monthly budget variance reports and summary reports of operating results and capital expenditures, as well as ad hoc reports as needed
? Maintain departmental records
? Prepare annual operating and capital budget for Clinical Practice Plan departments Prepare annual physician clinical income payroll file
? Process JUP physician payroll on a bi-weekly basis
? Perform reconciliation with Payroll Register, in coordination with internal audit
? Complete statistical data components of physician compensation for compensation reports with staff
? Prepare month and year-end closing entries with departments and Controller
? Assist and instruct department on financial issues
Qualifications include:
? BA in Accounting/Finance or business related area
? 5 ? 7 years experience in position(s) involving budgets and accounts receivable preparation and/or hospital cost accounting
? 5 years or more experience in MS Word, Windows and Excel
? Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task
? Knowledge of PeopleSoft general ledger system preferred
