Sr. Internal Auditor

Supporting SOX documentation phase, including process flows, risk Control Matrices and test scripts Working with the business owners to identify their control structure, identifying their controls and evaluating them. Support SOX testing, and annual audit requirements in accordance with Symantec Sox documentation Evaluation of deficiencies and working with Business to remediate them.

 

Reports to US SOX Manager Leads Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort for US Region Coordinates efforts with business process owners, VPs and regional SOX compliance teams Minimum 3-5 years experience in public accounting/internal audit/corporate accounting BS/BA in Accounting Previous experience with Sarbanes-Oxley. Understanding of financial reporting, equity, fixed assets, payroll, and manufacturing processes and controls desirable. Highly skilled in the interpretation of GAAP requirements.  Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills required. Some travel may be required Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002 Knowledge. Experience with Oracle 11i, PeopleSoft, Visio and Excel a plus Degree in accounting or finance; CPA or other related Certification desired but not required Big 4/Audit experience or similar desired, not required.

 

Strong MS Excel and Visio skills preferable Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines and to be able to prioritize tasks Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Good planning skills and process management skills are important Integrity and trust Previous audit and SOX experience would be a distinct advantage, as well as having worked in a multinational high technology environment.
