Sr. Manager Financial Planning & Analysis

 

Job Description:

 

Drive Analytics on a Country, Regional and Global basis:Responsibility for communication, coordination and analysis for one of four geographic regions as well as the countries in that region.  Includes:Forecast, Budgeting, Long-Range Planning and interim reporting analysisSales and Brand trendsGross and Operating margin analyses and reconciliationsOverhead tracking and target observanceRestructuring program results monitoringInventory and Accounts receivable trendsRegional Capital project support and tracking Drive common practices between RegionsBeing the Corporate Expert on that regionResponsibility for part of the total Avon analysis which could include:Forecast, Budgeting, Long-Range Planning and interim reportingSales and Brand trendsGross and Operating margin analyses and reconciliationsOverhead tracking and target observanceRestructuring program results monitoringInventory and Accounts receivable trendsPreparation of Senior management and Audit Committee and Board of Director presentationsResponsibility for Company incentive Plan, including:Coordination with Human Resources for plan calculation and constructionDevelopment of a model to calculate incentive levels based on current outlookCalculation of incentive levels for actuals and forecastsTracking possible exceptions to incentive rulesAssisting in Compensation Committee presentationsResponsibility for ad hoc projects as they may come up.

 

Position requires effective coordination and communication with the regional teams and other global departments to perform required analysis quickly and accurately under tight deadlines, communicate requirements effectively, share best practices and produce detailed and accurate presentations.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Bachelor?s Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting.  MBA a plus.

Professional accounting qualification preferred.

-Minimum of  7+ years of financial planning and/or analysis experience in a large multi-national organization.

Ideally some knowledge of the Avon Sales structure and operating processes.

 

Financial planning; analysis, budgeting, reporting and financial modeling. 

-In depth understanding and application of P&L, balance sheets and related financial statements.

 

-Strong analytical, problem solving and project management experience. Proficient in interpreting financial results and business indicators to identify and analyze trends.

 

-Strong desktop computer skills and Accounting/

financial systems such as Hyperion, Coda, JDE, crystal ball beneficial
