Summary of Responsibilities:
Applies practical and theoretical pricing and reserving knowledge and actuarial analysis to property and casualty insurance products.

Major Duties and Functions Include:
Gathers and organizes data
Reviews rates, rules and experience to develop and implement rate revisions
Interacts with other areas such as Market Strategists in order to articulate the pricing proposal
Performs some coding; develops spreadsheets; performs univariate research.
Participates in interdepartmental projects
May have minimal supervisory responsibilities
Performs other related duties as assigned or required

What You Need to Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related discipline
3+ years insurance industry experience (pricing experience with a Property Casualty Insurer is preferred)
Candidate should have a strong knowledge of P&C insurance products
Strong math and analytical skills
Good organization skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Good communication skills
Must have taken and passed 3 to 4 CAS exams
