Sr. Project Analyst: Budget Control & Forecasting

Kyowa Pharmaceutical Inc. (KPI) based in Princeton, NJ, is part of a Tokyo-based, $3 billion international Life Science and Biotechnology oriented company.  KPI specializes in R&D, manufacturing, and marketing of innovative pharmaceuticals including Neuorscience, Oncology, Immunology and Urology. 

 

We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Project Analyst for Budget Control & Forecasting, reporting to Project Management. Qualified individual will have a B.S with 2-5 yrs. in Project Management related financial analysis.  Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access with strong communications skills is critical.  Responsibilities include budget & forecasting for all R&D projects, vendor negotiations, financial statements, coord all invoice processing/prepares reports, and monitors project progress.  Duties include:


* Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan.

* Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.

* Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.

* Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

* Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements.

 

* Implements financial projection planning and control processes by following time schedules; monitoring deadlines; adhering to policies and procedures.

 

* Prepares special reports and completes special projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

* Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
