All qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their application for the position of Staff Accountant in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this position compiles and analyzes financial account information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts. Also translates and prepares financial information into journal entries, enters journal entries into the automated accounting system and analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

Key Responsibilities: 

? Prepares account reconciliation statements, summarizes general ledger information into company standard reporting format, prepares and analyses to summarize the company?s financial information, reviews account for accuracy and completeness, creates and maintains automated accounting system reports. Identifies, researches and clears outstanding items on reconciliations in a timely manner.

? Provides audit assistance to internal and external auditors as needed

? Main responsibilities will include Fixed Assets, Sales and Use Tax or Freight.

Qualifications include:Bachelor?s degree (B.S.) in accounting; MBA/CPA preferred; and one+ years related experience.
