Staff Financial Auditor

We are seeking a Staff Financial Auditor for our Allina Commons Corporate location in the Midtown Exchange building.

 

Responsibilities:

Perform financial audits; document work and findings using electronic workpaper application; assist in development of audit programs and testing criteria; synthesize recommendations from testing results and other observations.  Write concise, clear reports detailing findings and clearly stating recommendations for improvement.  Participate in follow up on recommendations made using automated tools.  Communicate with staff, management and executives as needed to complete assigned reviews.  Participate in department goals achievement activities.  Work as collaborative partner with audit customers to identify control improvement opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

BA/BS in Accounting; prior audit experience, and/or healthcare experience and/or accounting experience preferred, CPA a plus.

Organized, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent written and verbal communications; strong analysis and problem solving capabilities;

Use of computer applications including Word, Excel, Access, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Auto Audit. 

Ability to identify and discuss differences clearly and factually, driving toward resolution.

Ability to use analysis and critical thinking in problem solving; ability to work with all levels of staff, management and executives.

 

1.0 FTE - Day position, M-F 8-5.
